 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. Kidnapped Professor Rosamund Green-Osahagulu                              According to sources,the Vice Chancellor of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education Port Harcourt Professor Rosamund Greed Osahagulu,who was abducted last week thursday by unknown gunmen on her way home in Pot Harcourt after the closure of work has now regained her freedom.The circumstances surrounding her release remains sketchy,but Ahmad Muhammad,the Rivers Command of Pulic Relations Officer confirmed her freedom this morning,stating that she is hale and hearty and united with her family.Professor Rosamund Green Osahagulu was appointed Vice Chancellor by the immediate past administration of former Governor Chibuike Amaechi after upgrading the institution from College of Education to University of Education.I thank God for her.
