DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. Dr William Babatunde Fowler,appointed as the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service {FIRS}by the President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari.Dr Fowler was the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Chairman of the Lagos state Board of internal Revenue from 2005 to 2014.Under his leadership,the Lagos state Board of Internal Revenue reportedly achieved a sharp increase in internally generated revenue from an average of N3.6.billion per month in January 2006,to an average of about N20.5 billion per month in 2013.He will serve as acting Executive Chairman of FIRS until his appointment is confirmed by the senate.President Buhari has also appointed Mr Aliyu Yahaya Gusau as Director General Budget Office of the Federation.Mr Gusau's appointment is with effect from August 18,2015 ans is for a term of four years,renewable for another four years.
