 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. FIRE RAZED PART OF MINISTRY OF COMMERCE BUILDING IN LAGOS SECRETARIAT ALUASA TODAY.

                     Today saturday around 1pm fire gutted a portion of the Lagos State Ministry of commerce and industry at the Lagos State Government Secretariat,Alausa in Ikeja.The fire razed part of the third floor of the ministry.Thick smoke enveloped the building around 1pm with balls of fire emanating from the building thereafter.At least four offices were destroyed in the fire.Officials of the Lagos State Fire Service raced to the scene and were able to put out the fire before it razed the entire building.
