 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. THE NIGERIAN POLICE,ADVISES NIGERIANS TO DESIST FROM USING FIREWORKS THIS YULETIDE.

                        A press release by the Nigerian Police Force that was captioned ''Be warned,ban on fire works in force-IGP Arase''. was posted to their official social media page and it states that ''It has come to the knowledge of the Nigeria Police Force that some Nigerians have started using fireworks and firecrackers in anticipation of the yuletide celebrations.With the present security situation,occasioned by recent bombing in parts of the country,the Inspector General of Police,IGP Solomon E.Arase,fdc,NPM,is advising Nigerians to desist from using fireworks,otherwise called ''knock out'' as the ban on it is still in force.This warning becomes crucial as there are reports that hoodlums are now using fireworks to confuse Nigerians in order to carry out their nefarious activities.Violators of this warning will be made to face the wrath of the law.Ag.ACP Olabisi Kolawole,Force Public Relations Officer,Force Headquarters,Abuja''.One more photo below.
