  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.                         A press release by the Nigerian Police Force that was captioned ''Be warned,ban on fire works in force-IGP Arase''. was posted to their official social media page and it states that ''It has come to the knowledge of the Nigeria Police Force that some Nigerians have started using fireworks and firecrackers in anticipation of the yuletide celebrations.With the present security situation,occasioned by recent bombing in parts of the country,the Inspector General of Police,IGP Solomon E.Arase,fdc,NPM,is advising Nigerians to desist from using fireworks,otherwise called ''knock out'' as the ban on it is still in force.This warning becomes crucial as there are reports that hoodlums are now using fireworks to confuse Nigerians in order to carry out their nefarious activities.Violators of this warning will be made to face the wrath of the law.Ag.ACP Olabisi Kolawole,Force Public Relations Officer,Force Headquarters,Abuja''.One more photo below.
