 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.                    According to sources,Sierre Leone athlete Jimmy Thoronka was told by the United Kingdom authorities to leave the UK by monday or face arrest after his application to remain in the UK to start his studies in September was denied.Thoronka is Sierra Leone's top 100 meter sprinter,who remained in the UK,out of fear of contacting Ebola virus,that have killed thousands of people in Africa.Well he should take heart,and come back to his country.More photos below.
