 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION,SAID PROCESSED MEAT CAUSES CANCER.

                               According to the World Health Organization {WHO} who said that processed meat such as bacon,ham and sausages can cause cancer.The processed meat refers to meat that has been modified to increase its shelf life or alter its taste such as by smoking,curing or adding salt or preservatives.WHO says that consumption  of 50 grams of processed meat a day,less than two slices of bacon,increases the chances of developing colorectal cancer by 18%.However,the organization also acknowledged that meat does have health benefits.Red meat is a major source of iron,zinc and vitamin B12.The processes such as salting,smoking,curing and preservation are the factors that inrease the risk of cancer.If you ask me,people especially those in Africa,should retrace their food steps.Meaning,before the coming of processed meat,we do cook before we fry,though we might lose the nutrients during these cooking process,but i don't think any disease will survive the process of cooking the meat before frying.More photos below.
