 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. NIGER REPUBLIC AIR FORCE,BOMBS BOKO HARAM CAMPS & ARRESTED 20 MILITANTS.

                             Niger air force bombed a Boko Haram base in the southeast and arrested more than 20 militants.Government forces tracked the militants after a soldier was killed when a military vehicle was blown up by remote control by the group near Lake Chad on Monday.A Military source said ''Our air forces destroyed this nest,but we do not yet have an official death toll''In October,Niger's parliament approved a three month extension of a 15 day state of emergency in Diffa in order to boost security.A long awaited 8,700 regional task force is set to begin joint raids on Boko Haram's last enclaves when the rainy season ends soon.Said a top U.N official in West Africa.One more photo below.
