 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. NIGER REPUBLIC AIR FORCE,BOMBS BOKO HARAM CAMPS & ARRESTED 20 MILITANTS.

                             Niger air force bombed a Boko Haram base in the southeast and arrested more than 20 militants.Government forces tracked the militants after a soldier was killed when a military vehicle was blown up by remote control by the group near Lake Chad on Monday.A Military source said ''Our air forces destroyed this nest,but we do not yet have an official death toll''In October,Niger's parliament approved a three month extension of a 15 day state of emergency in Diffa in order to boost security.A long awaited 8,700 regional task force is set to begin joint raids on Boko Haram's last enclaves when the rainy season ends soon.Said a top U.N official in West Africa.One more photo below.
