 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. 1 PERSON DEAD,4 INJURED AFTER A MULTIPLE COLLISION OCCURRED TODAY ALONG OYO-OGBOMOSO ROAD.

                     Today friday can be labelled as black friday,after a multiple collisions occurred today along Oyo-Ogbomoso route at Oweyo village,15km from Oyo.It was reported by the Federal Road Safety Corps {FRSC} that ''1 male adult fatality and 4 male adults injuries were recorded in a multiple crash that occured on 12/02/16,0223hrs along Oyo-Ogbomoso route at Oweyo village,15 km from Oyo.The vehicles involved were an Iveco Tubor and Mitsubishi Cabster.The victims were taken to the State Hospital,Oyo''.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
