 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. THE NIGERIAN ARMY,AMBUSHED SOME BOKO HARAM MEMBERS YESTERDAY IN SAMBISA FOREST,KILLED SOME & SOME RAN AWAY.

                                              Today wednesday,Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman,Acting Director Army Public Relations at Maiduguri, said that in continuation of their exploits against the Boko Haram terrorists,troops of 81 Battalion and 251 Force Battalion,have intensified offensive actions against the terrorists.''Last night,the troops laid ambush against some elements of the Boko Haram at two of their crossing points at Komala and Musafanari general area coming from Sambisa forest.The ambush party decisively dealt with some terrorists on motorcycles in which a number of terrorists were killed and a few others flee with gunshot wounds.The troops recovered one AK45 rifle with registration number 56-2614519,in addition to a magazine containing 9 rounds of 7.62mm {Special},6 motorcycles,2 bags of salt and other assorted food items as well as various Improvised Explosive Making Devices {IEDs}.The recovered items clearly shows that the terrorists were out for a nefarious mission which was aborted by the timely ambushes.Consequent upon this,we wish to implore members of the public to kindly oblige us with timely information  on Boko Haram terrorists to enable the military and indeed the security to deal with them decisively.The troops in various axis of the theatre are poised for the clearance off the remnants of the Boko Haram terrorists in our country''.More photos below.
