 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali. ZIMBABWE AUTHORITIES,RELEASED U.S CARGO PLANE SEIZED LAST WEEK FOR CARRYING A DEAD BODY AND A LOT OF MONEY.

                     Today saturday,Zimbabwe released the U.S cargo plane and the unidentified body of a suspected stowaway found on board last sunday,saying the cause of death was lack of oxygen.National police spokeswoman Charity Charamba told reporters that the MD11  cargo plane,owned by Florida based Western Global Airlines,its crew,the ma's body and cash belonging to South Africa's central bank had left for South Africa.The body was discovered by Zimbabwean aviation officials when the plane landed in Harare after failing to land in Durban.One more photo below.
