  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT,RECENTLY TRAINED 1,000 UNEMPLOYED YOUTHS.

                          Lagos State Ministry of Youths and Social Development,in collaboration with Rated Cranes and Scaffold Nigeria Limited,commenced a Seven-Day Vocational Training Programme in Plant and Heavy Equipment for over 1,000 unemployed youths in the state.Speaking at the Gbagada and Oshodi Youth Centre during the opening ceremony of the training programme,the State Commissioner for the Ministry of Youth and Social Development,Mrs Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf said the vocational training programme is targeted at bridging the gap between what the vocational centre offers and demand of employers of labour.She noted that it is in fulfilment of the commitment of the state government to promote and encourage the acquisition of technical skill as a catalyst for youth empowerment,job and wealth creation.The Commissioner,who was represented by the Director,School Social Services in the Ministry,Mrs Foluke Omotosho,stated that ''The training programme is a life transforming exercise because it will present a platform for the teeming youths to equip themselves with necessary knowledge for self-reliance which will invariably help them cater for themselves and their families''.One more photo below.
