 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. MORE CATTLE RUSTLERS WERE CLEARED BY THE NIGERIAN ARMY IN DANSADAU DISTRICT,YESTERDAY.{PHOTOS}.

                                                 Troops of 1 Division Nigerian Army involved in Operation SHARAN DAJI,the outfit to clear cattle rustlers,armed bandits and kidnappers in the north west geo-political region in the country,yesterday cleared armed bandits in Gobirawan Kwacha,Dansadau District of Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.During the encounter in the forest,the troops were able to kill 3 armed bandits and recovered 1 AK-47 rifle,1 AK-47 magazine and 11 rounds of 7.62mm {Special} ammunition.Unfortunately,the bandits shot and damaged the troops vehicle.However,none of the soldiers was injured.-Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman,Acting Director Army Public Relations.One more photo below.
