DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. The EFCC has called on Nigerian students to buy into the war against corruption,economic and financial crimes in Nigeria.The plea was made today,July 12,2016,when National Association of Management and Business Administration Students,Adamawa State University,Mubi,Adamawa state,paid the Commission a courtesy call at the EFCC Academy,Karu,Abuja.The Commandant of the Academy who was represented by Abiodun Adebanjo,welcomed the students and told them that the Commission has the mandate of Preventing,Investigating and Prosecution of all cases of economic and financial crimes in Nigeria.Head,Enlightenment and Re-orientation Unit,who was represented by Zainab .B. Tifi explained that the unit is responsible for preventive mandate of the Commission and this mandate is carried out by sensitizing the publics on the ills of corruption by enlightenment and re-orientation of the masses through a well designed programmes meant for different categories of people in Nigeria.Francis Micheal who led the students,expressed appreciation to the Commission for giving the students the needed information required to make them better future leaders of this country.
