 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. 13 PEOPLE WERE KILLED TODAY IN INDIA,AFTER TERRORIST OPENED FIRE AT A BUSY MARKET.

              According to Aljazeera,an armed separatist group is being blamed for killing at least 13 people and more than a dozen wounded,during an attack on a busy weekly market in Kokrajhar town in India's northeastern Assam state,officials said.One assailant was killed during the attack today friday and security forces were in pursuit of three or four suspects believed to be hiding in a nearby forest,Assam police chief Mukesh Sahay told reporters.Though no group has yet claimed responsibility,Sahay blamed the attack on the outlawed National Democratic Front of Bodoland,an armed group that has fought for decades for a separate homeland for the indigenous Bodo tribes people in Assam.One more photo below.
