 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. NIGHT WEDDINGS IN KENYA COASTAL TOWN OF MOMBASA,HAVE BEEN BANNED.

                         According to CCTV,Kenya security agents have banned night wedding ceremonies at the coastal town of Mombasa due to increased cases of insecurity.Wedding organizers have been asked to ensure the weddings end by 10 pm or seek clearance from the security agents and must get police protection,which is paid for according to the Daily Nation.The decision came after increases attacks on residents by knife wielding gangs.Some of the residents supported the ban while others opposed the decision claiming that security should be free to allow the celebrations to continue as usual.The Swahili community in the region hold overnight events,weddings that extend up to five days.''The government cannot ban night weddinfs,which are cultural in this region..Instead,security agencies must deal with the gangs.We are in the 21st century and such orders are archaic'' said Commission for Human Rights and Justice executive director Julius Ogogoh.A group of young criminals have been roaming the streets of Mombosa robbing and beating up according to the local media report.One more photo below.
