 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. A TEACHER WAS ARRESTED AFTER HE GAVE A STUDENT $4,000 TO BUY WEED.{PHOTO}.

Lindsay Wildcat Academy,supposedly issued the beatdown after the student failed to return the $4,000 that he gave him to buy weed.The student told police that he met with a drug connect in June who wanted $7,000 for a pound of weed.Snice Pope only gave him $4,000 he spent the money and carried on with life.When Pope spotted the student walking near the school on wednesday September 21,he reportedly punched the boy multiple times,before jacking his iPhone,gold chain and wallet.He also threatened to beat the student up again,and rape his mother,accordingg to Assistant District Attorney Gerard Donahue.Meanwhile,Pope's attorney claims the boy actually stole the money from his client's briefcase.Sources further said ''Pope is currently awaiting arraignment on assault and robbery charges''.
