 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  Image result for indian train derails near kanpur                       Another report reaching my news table is that another tragedy has struck in India as a passenger train derailed in India's northern Uttar Pradesh state has Injured at least 50 people.Fifteen carriages of the Ajmer-Sealdah Express came off the tracks early today wednesday.All remaining passengers have now been rescued.Earlier senior Kanpur police official zaki Ahmed said two people had died but Indian Railways did not confirm this.More photos below.
