 M23 says hundreds of Burundi soldiers captured in latest Congo offensive The Rwanda-backed M23 group has captured hundreds of Burundian soldiers during its latest offensive in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a rebel official said, as clashes continued despite a warning from the Trump administration. Last week M23 entered the strategic town of Uvira near the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met in Washington with U.S. President Donald Trump and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept". Rwanda denies supporting M23 and has blamed Congolese and Burundian forces for the renewed fighting. Question: How long are you planning to stay in the east this season?
Reply: For now an in Onitsha and I arrived here yesterday and I intend to stay here for 8 days.
Question: So what other activities are you doing tomorrow Christmas day?
Reply: Tomorrow after service i will cook,before going to GRA Onitsha to see my childhood friend and her family.
Question: How is the recession affecting your Christmas?
Reply: Recession did not affect my Christmas that much because i cut my clothe according to my size in terms of what I bought,And I was able to travel of which I do yearly.
Question: Do you have anybody or group of people you want to wish a Merry Christmas?
Reply: Yes I would like to wish my immediate family,friends and well wishers,facebook friends,and everyone that contributed and impact in my life positively a happy Christmas and new year in advance.
