 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. NIGERIAN ARMY TAKES PREMIUM TIMES TO COURT.{READ}.

No automatic alt text available.              The Nigerian Army has instituted a legal action against on online publication,the Premium Times over its failure to retract and apologize over false,subversive and malicious publications against the person of the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai and the Nigerian Army.All efforts to make the meduium make amend proved abortive.Consequently,the Nigerian Army sent a letter to the management of the of the online publishers to retract and apologize before 31st December 20166.The medium however remained adamant and recalcitrant.
Consequently,the Nigerian Army has briefed it's lawyers to institute legal action against the medium.
