 Gov. Ododo’s Executive Proclamation Not State of Emergency  Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo  has clarified that his recent Executive Proclamation on security protocols in the state is not a declaration of a state of emergency but a set of necessary measures to enhance the security architecture to crackdown on criminals in all parts of the state.  This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, explaining that the proclamation is a lawful constitutional measure aimed at strengthening security coordination and protecting lives and property across Kogi State.  Gov. Ododo emphasized that it is within his powers as the Chief Security Officer of the state under Section 14 subsection 2(b) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended). AMOSUN APPROVED THE CONSTITUTION OF A NEW GOVERNING COUNCIL FOR THE OLABISI ONABANJO UNIVERSITY.

Image may contain: 1 person                  The Governor of Ogun State,His Excellency Senator Ibikunle Amosun CON,FCA has approved the constitution of a new Governing Council for the Olabisi Onabanjo University,Ago Iwoye.The Secretary to the State Government in a release stated that the Council members who are drawn from the Academia,Business and Political sectors will be inaugurated at a data to be announced later.
The composition of the Governing Council is as follows:-
1. Pro Chancellor and Chairman of Council:Mrs Mosun Bello-Olusoga
2. The Vice Chancellor
3. Deputy Vice Chancellor {Academic}: Prof. Ebun Oduwole.
4. Deputy Vice Chancellor {Administration}

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
