 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker. Image may contain: sky, tree and outdoor                The newly built Fela {Kuti} Effigy at Allen Round About Ikeja by Lagos State Government is now the center of attraction around that environment and the yellow gold statue is no doubt making a statement though someone in my car said it looks like a big scare crow.In Ojodu Berger,the entry point into the State,a Foot-like Statue was also erected.The significance of the Statue is to encourage youths to put their best foot forward and to know that every journey to success starts with a step.The foot and the Fela Effigy os part of the urban regeneration to beautify and celebrate Lagos @ 50 as well as promote the cultural heritage of the State by the Lagos Government.More photos below.
