 Anambra to go after houses without proper drainage in order to combat Erosion  Worried by the rising menace of gully erosion, the Anambra State Government has threatened to enforce regulations requiring residents to provide proper drainage for storm water from their homes. The State Executive Council (ANSEC), which announced the proposed enforcement, lamented that erosion remains an existential challenge in Anambra, blaming the situation on careless actions by some communities and lapses by regulatory bodies in enforcing environmental laws. Briefing journalists after the weekly executive council meeting, the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, said it had been observed that some residents channel storm water from their homes directly onto roads, where it accumulates and worsens the erosion crisis across the state. “ANSEC has resolved to step up enforcement to compel residents to properly channel and manage storm water from their houses. EFCC ARRAIGNS ONE OVER DUD CHEQUE YESTERDAY.{PHOTOS}.

Image may contain: 1 person, standing                                                 The EFCC, Kaduna Zonal Office today, 21st August 21, 2017 arraigned one Jacob Jerome Mona before Justice K.N Kunaza at the State High Court, Bauchi on a three count charge for the offence of Conspiracy, Criminal Breach of Trust and Issuance of dud cheque to the tune of Eight Million Naira.
Jacob who is the Managing Director Tari Oil and Gas Limited sometimes in 2016 recieved a total of 40,000 litres of diesel valued at Eight Million Naira of which he issued a post dated cheque to one Abdullahi Mohammed to present on his behalf. The cheque was returned unpaid due to insufficient funds in Jacob's account and efforts to get him pay the beneficiary proved futile. The case has been adjourned to 29th August, 2017 for commencement of trial.One more photo below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
