  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. ROTARY CLUB OF ABUJA CBD UNVEILS TWO-SIDED BILLBOARD WITH PCRRU CONTACT INFORMATION.{PHOTOS}.

Mbanefo Ositadinma Nnoka on 25th August, 2017 unveiled a billboard displaying the Public Complaint Rapid Response Unit - PCRRU, Nigeria Police Force (PCRRU) contact information with that of the club at the Ahmadu Bello Way / Kur Mohammed intersection, Central Business District Abuja. The District Governor highlighted some of the humanitarian projects being embarked upon across the country by the club and the commendable role the PCRRU is playing regarding police accountability.In her remarks, the Club President, Salomi Garba said the important role the PCRRU is playing in bridging the gap between the police and members of the public informed the decision to erect the billboard. She also promised additional support of her club and collaboration with PCRRU.Head of PCRRU, ACP Abayomi Shogunle extended the appreciation of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K. Idris NPM mni to the Rotary Club of Abuja CBD for erecting the billboard at such a strategic location within the Abuja Central Business District. He also said that with the high human traffic in the area more citizens would get to know about the existence the PCRRU.The event was attended by the Assistant-Inspector General of Police NPF Air-Wing, AIG Ezekiel Zang and other members of the Club.More photos below.
