 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.      The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall have been visiting beautiful Malaysia over the past two days - Their Royal Highnesses’ first visit to the country.The welcome for TRH has been fantastic, especially from the students of the University of Nottingham campus in Malaysia! The Prince received big cheers as he arrived to help launch the Commonwealth Youth Summit, which consists of around 180 delegates from across the Commonwealth. Organised by the Commonwealth Youth Council, it is the officially recognised voice of 1.2 billion young people.The Prince also visited the Islamic Arts Museum, where HRH said he was “delighted to be in Malaysia for the first time.”.The Duchess meanwhile met students at the International School Parkcity. In the evening, Their Royal Highnesses attended a Gala Dinner to celebrate 60 years of UK-Malaysia diplomatic ties.More photos below.
