 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. KANO PILLARS STAR, CHINEDU UDORJI SET TO BE BURIED IN HIS HOMETOWN.{MIXED PHOTOS}.

      Former Enyimba star and Kano pillars captain Chinedu Udoji who died after a road traffic accident is said to be buried in his home town in Anambra.
The footballer who hails from Igbariam in Anambra East died just after his man-of-the-match performance for his team, Kano Pillars, in the match-day 9 of the Nigerian Professional Football League against his former club Enyimba FC.
According to reports, Udoji played full time in the match and was voted man of the match before he was engaged in auto accident on Sunday 18th February 2018.
Before his death, he was one of the most experienced players in the NPFL-good in the air, excellent passing skills, and his man-marking was out of this world.His death is a painful loss to both Anambrans and Nigerians in general. May his soul rest in peace.
