  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF LAUNCHED A BOOK ON MILITARY PRACTICE & PROCEDURE YESTERDAY.{PHOTOS}.

      The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai has today at Nigerian Army Resource Centre in Abuja launched a book tittled "Introduction to Military Law Practice and Procedure" authored by Col BU Okorie (Rtd).
COAS in his remarks noted that the launching of the book couldn't have come at a better time than now the Nigerian Army is engaged in counter insurgency and other forms of internal security operations in many parts of the country and is required to continue to maintain a high level of disciple which necessarily goes with trials of erring personnel.
The Chief of Army Staff further stated that the book simplifies Summary and Court Martial Trials which make up the major aspect of Military Justice System in Nigeria. He also said the book can serve as a practical guide to commanders at different levels who conduct summary trials and also can guide members of court martial on a step by step basis on what is required of them.
In his vote of thanks, the Author of Book, Col BU Okorie (Rtd) thanked immensely the Chief of Army Staff for not only launching the book but has also promised to ensure that every commander in the Army gets a copy of the book. He also expressed gratitude to the Director, Legal Service (Army) Brig Gen Yusuf Shalangwa for his support and other dignitaries that graced the occasion.More photos below.
