 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.      The Duke of Cambridge, Patron of Tusk, has visited Mkomazi National Park yesterday to learn more about conservation efforts on the front line of a Tanzanian National Park.
His Royal Highness saw how Mkomazi are working to establish a viable breeding population of 50 black rhino, their work educating local children on wildlife, and joined the team at Mkomazi to replace a security fence.This week, The Duke in his role as Tusk Patron, has been in Namibia and Tanzania to see how their projects are playing an integral part in the fight to #endwildifecrime''  .More photos below.
