 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali. MAN BEATS EX-GIRLFRIEND IN LECTURE HALL,DEMANDS CASH REFUND.{PHOTO}.

     A young man has been spotted in a video beating up his ex-girlfriend in her lecture hall, while also asking for refund of her school fees he paid.
According to multiple online reports, the incident happened yesterday, 22nd of March 2019 at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.
The story making rounds on social media has it that the lady identified as Jane was publicly beaten up and disgraced by her boyfriend after she allegedly dumped him.
The boyfriend is said to have paid for Jane’s School fees, and not long Jane dumped him for another person.
This made the unidentified boyfriend furious, and he apparently, went to her class to demand for ‘his money’ angrily.
