 TURNING WASTE TO WEALTH: LASEPA PARTNERS ORORO WASTE MANAGEMENT LTD. TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT OF USED COOKING OIL The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) is partnering with Ororo Waste Management Ltd to promote the recycling of used cooking oil for wealth creation, sustainable environment and public health safety. As such, the Agency in collaboration with Ororo Waste Management Ltd on Tuesday organised a One-Day public sensitisation programme on sustainable management of used cooking oil with the Theme: “Turning Used Cooking Oil to Wealth: Prospects and Opportunities,”  The event, which was held at the Protea Hotels, Alausa, Ikeja, brought together people from different walks of life who shared knowledge on the new recycling initiative for healthy living and sustainable environmental growth.     Live from the Magistrate Court, Mpape, Abuja. Senator Ademola Adeleke arriving the premises of the Mpape Magistrate Court today.He was entering the court with two fingers in the air. Showing double peace..aAccording to sources ''Force spokesman, Mr. Frank Mba, explained that Adeleke was picked up for a criminal offence.He said: “Senator Adeleke is currently in police custody. He was taken into custody in the evening of today 6th May 2019 in connection with ongoing criminal investigations touching on his person.
“Meanwhile, in the best tradition of natural justice and fair hearing, he has already been served with the relevant charge sheet containing his alleged offences in the presence of his Attorneys.
“He will be arraigned in a competent court of law tomorrow, 7th May 2019.”Meanwhile, the PDP has called for the immediate and unconstitutional release of its chieftain.
National Publicity Secretary, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan, made the call at a press conference on Monday in Abuja.
He described the arrest as total disregard for the extant order of the Osun State High Court, Ikirun, issued on Monday, restraining the police or its agents from arresting and detaining him''.More details later and more photos below.
