  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. LASG DEPLOYS ENFORCEMENT OPERATIVES TO PREVENT RETURN OF SHANTIES,SQUATTERS ALONG OUTER MARINA,ONIKAN.#PRESS RELEASE.

     In order to sustain the dislodgement of squatters and illegal structures on Outer Marina and Onikan, the State Government has deployed not less than 60 operatives of the three enforcement agencies of the State to various points along Onikan and Outer Marina.
The latest move was made possible through the creation of a synergy between the operatives of Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI), Lagos Neighbourhood Watch as well as Lagos State Parks and Gardens to sustain aesthetics in all the cleared areas.
Giving an update on the ongoing operations, the Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Mr. Tunji Bello stated that the buy-in of the Office of the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2 at Onikan had been secured to sustain the effects of the enforcement exercise.
Bello said a large detachment of the operatives of KAI, Neighbourhood Watch and LASPARK will be deployed on a daily basis to man and patrol the listed areas and prevent a return of the environmental nuisance.
He requested that deployed teams with issues bordering on their safety or operations should call for reinforcement from their superiors, reiterating the commitment of the administration to ensure that there is no going back to the old, dirty, unkempt environment days along Outer Marina and Onikan.
Areas that have already been cleared and will be sustained in line with the directives of Governor Sanwo-Olu are the Onikan corridors including Police Zone 2 Office/Island Club, Race Course/Lagos Lawn Tennis Club and Outer Marina.
