In the unprecedented gesture, 510 staff members received cash gifts. Five top employees walked away with $690,000 each, another five received $345,000 each, while others were rewarded with amounts ranging from $3,000 to $69,000. The reward, according to company insiders, recognises years of commitment, excellence, and contributions to BUA Cement’s growth into one of Africa’s leading cement producers.
