 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker. WARRI ANGRY YOUTHS THREW AWAY THE GARRI OF WOMEN SELLING ABOVE NORMAL MARKET PRICE.{PHOTO}.

     There was anger in Warri on Monday afternoon as angry Warri youths threw away the garri of Warri women who were selling beyond normal market price.
According to a post made by one Michael Ifeanyi Egunyenga, youths in Ubeji, Warri area of Delta state stormed the market and discovered that the market women were selling buckets of garri for N1500 instead of N750.
The youths said that the women were selling at high prices, they described them as crude and wicked for selling garri beyond the recommended price.
