 M23 says hundreds of Burundi soldiers captured in latest Congo offensive The Rwanda-backed M23 group has captured hundreds of Burundian soldiers during its latest offensive in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a rebel official said, as clashes continued despite a warning from the Trump administration. Last week M23 entered the strategic town of Uvira near the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met in Washington with U.S. President Donald Trump and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept". Rwanda denies supporting M23 and has blamed Congolese and Burundian forces for the renewed fighting. TOP RADIO HOST DAN FOSTER PASSED AWAY THIS AFTERNOON.{PHOTOS}.#RIP

BREAKING: Dan Foster, popular radio personality, is dead
  According to sources, the veteran radio host died around 1pm on Wednesday.
“He died today around 1pm. His wife is currently at the isolation centre in Yaba as we speak,” said the source.
While the cause of his death is yet to be confirmed — as of the time this report was filed — immediate suspicion is that he died of COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by coronavirus.
Prior to his demise, Foster, who is well known among his fans as ‘The Big Dawg’ and ‘Top Dawg’, worked with Cool FM, Inspiration FM, City FM and Classic FM.
He was a judge on ‘Nigeria’s Got Talent’ alongside Kate Henshaw, a Nollywood actress, and Yibo Koko, a comedian.
The radio personality was also a former judge of ‘Idols West Africa’ series. He held a similar position with the ‘Got Talent’ franchise.
Foster passed away days after Ibidun Ighodalo, wife of Ituah Ighodalo, senior pastor of Trinity House Church in Lagos, died of heart attack in her sleep while in Port Harcourt, capital of Rivers state.
Quite a number of Nigerians, including celebrities, have taken to social media platforms to pay their last respect as words of the radio host’s death spread.One more photo below.
