  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  The Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command *CP John B.Abang,fdc* has today, 29th July, 2020 decorated One hundred and thirteen(113) newly promoted Police Officers from the Inspectorate to ASP cadre at the State Command Headquarters, Awka
The decoration ceremony was done following the recent promotion of 6,601 personnel of the Nigeria Police Force throughout the Federation.
The ceremony was attended by the Command management team and relations of the newly promoted officers.The promotion is in line with IGP's determination towards boosting the morale of Police personnel for effective service delivery. It is also based on merit, seniority and dedication to duty.
In his address, the Commissioner Of Police *CP John B.Abang,fdc* congratulates the beneficiaries on behalf of the Inspector-general of Police *IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu,NPM,mni* and urged the officers to reciprocate the gesture done to them by redoubling their efforts towards fighting crimes and exhibiting high professionalism, civility to members of the public and respect for human rights.
Meanwhile, among the beneficiaries are ASP Amaoge Ann Okoye In charge of Confidential office,SHQ Awka,ASP Umoru Ejima attached to Department of Operations SHQ Awka and W/ASP Chinenye Ochiobi attached to Aguata Division
Responding on behalf of the newly promoted officers W/ASP Amaoge Ann Okoye thanked the IGP and the Police Service Commission for finding them worthy of the promotion and also promised to redouble their efforts towards serving the Nation with integrity.
