 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. ANAMBRA: UMUZOCHA VILLAGE ARRESTS THREE INDIGENS OF AWKA FOR ROBBERY, ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF STOKEN ITEMS.{PHOTO}.

Before the reporter could arrive Umuzocha Village Awka where the incident took place and the village hall where  the suspects were said to be  paraded before the public, the suspects have been taken to an unknown destination.


Meanwhile, eyewitnesses have confirmed to the reporter that three people who are of Awka origin were arrested  by the youths of Umuzocha Village over  alleged robbery and criminal possession of item( Keke Na Pepe)


Eyewitnesses could not reveal the names of the suspects but said that upon interrogation, the suspects confessed  respectively that ,they are from Umuayom,Amudo and Amachalla Village Awka


While  source outside Umuzocha Village Awka gave a different account of the story . The source  asserted that among the suspects that invaded the village, only one of  the suspects was arrested , and that the arrested suspect is from Amudo Village and by name,  Onyebuchi.
