 Lagos Court Jails NOGASA Chair, Fatuyi Phillips 21 Years  for N43.5m Fraud    Justice Mojisola Dada of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, on Monday, November 18, 2024, convicted and sentenced Fatuyi Yemi Philips, Chairman, Natural Oil and Gas Suppliers Association of Nigeria, NOGASA, to 21 years imprisonment for N43.5m fraud.   The Lagos Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on April 5, 2022, arraigned Philips alongside his firm, Oceanview Oil and Gas Limited, on a two-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence to the tune of N43, 502,000.00   Count one reads: "Fatuyi Yemi Philips and Oceanview Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited, on or about the 28th day of September, 2016 at Lagos, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, with intent to defraud, obtained the aggregate sum of N43, 502,000.00 from Elochukwu Okoye and Elebana Unique Ventures Nigeria Limited on behalf of WAPCIL Nigeria Limited under the false rep

LASG POSTPONES Y2021 ENTRANCE EXAMINATION INTO MODEL COLLEGES, UPGRADED JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE

The Lagos State Examinations Board has postponed the Y2021 Entrance Examination (Screening Test) into the State Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools earlier scheduled to hold from Monday, June 28 to Saturday, July 3, 2021.


A release signed by the Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Supo Gbadegesin, stated that the examination has now been rescheduled to hold from Thursday, 15th July to Monday, 19th July, 2021.


He reminded the Parents and Guardians of registered candidates that the examination would be conducted through the Computer-Based Testing method (CBT) only, advising they ensure that their children and wards are well acquainted with the usage of computers.


The Director implored all prospective candidates to take cognisance of the new dates and revisit the Lagos State Examinations Board Portal via: examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng from Thursday, 1st July, 2021, to print out their Examination Slips for the details of the examination.


While informing the parents and children to adhere strictly to the laid down guidelines and safety protocols of COVID-19 during the conduct of the examination, Gbadegesin wished participants success in the examination.
