 ANAMBRA POLICE COMMAND RECEIVES AND AUGMENTS IGP’S MONITORING UNIT OPERATIVES ON ENFORCEMENT OF POLICE PERSONNEL WITHDRAWAL FROM VIP ESCORT DUTIES IN THE STATE The Anambra State Police Command today 8th December 2025 formally received operatives of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP)’s Monitoring Unit deployed to the state to ensure full implementation of the IGP’s directive on the withdrawal of police personnel from VIP escort and guard duties. The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc mnips PhD reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to supporting the IGP’s reform efforts targeted at enhancing professionalism, discipline, and optimal deployment of police manpower nationwide. The CP noted that the withdrawal of these officers will help to strengthen public policing, improve response capacity, and ensure that more personnel are available for core policing duties across the state. LASG POSTPONES Y2021 ENTRANCE EXAMINATION INTO MODEL COLLEGES, UPGRADED JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE

The Lagos State Examinations Board has postponed the Y2021 Entrance Examination (Screening Test) into the State Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools earlier scheduled to hold from Monday, June 28 to Saturday, July 3, 2021.


A release signed by the Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Supo Gbadegesin, stated that the examination has now been rescheduled to hold from Thursday, 15th July to Monday, 19th July, 2021.


He reminded the Parents and Guardians of registered candidates that the examination would be conducted through the Computer-Based Testing method (CBT) only, advising they ensure that their children and wards are well acquainted with the usage of computers.


The Director implored all prospective candidates to take cognisance of the new dates and revisit the Lagos State Examinations Board Portal via: examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng from Thursday, 1st July, 2021, to print out their Examination Slips for the details of the examination.


While informing the parents and children to adhere strictly to the laid down guidelines and safety protocols of COVID-19 during the conduct of the examination, Gbadegesin wished participants success in the examination.
