 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. The Duke & Duchess have announced the arrival of their second child, a daughter, Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. Lili was born in California on Friday, June 4th at 11:40am and weighed 7lb 11oz! Absolutely thrilled that Harry & Meghan were able to welcome Lili into the world privately & safely! Both Meghan and Lili are home and doing well!
Lilibet is a fairly unusual name - but it actually has beautiful significance. It is the nickname used for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, by members of the family. By sharing it in the way they did: Lilibet “Lili”, they’re guiding everyone to use the shortened nickname “Lili” - much in the same way as how Prince Harry’s name actually isn’t Harry, it’s Henry!

Diana, her second name, of course pays tribute to Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana of Wales.

Lucky little Lilibet is named for two formidable, phenomenal women - and with a mother like Meghan, I know she will grow to be a fearless & phenomenal woman herself!
