 Anambra to go after houses without proper drainage in order to combat Erosion  Worried by the rising menace of gully erosion, the Anambra State Government has threatened to enforce regulations requiring residents to provide proper drainage for storm water from their homes. The State Executive Council (ANSEC), which announced the proposed enforcement, lamented that erosion remains an existential challenge in Anambra, blaming the situation on careless actions by some communities and lapses by regulatory bodies in enforcing environmental laws. Briefing journalists after the weekly executive council meeting, the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, said it had been observed that some residents channel storm water from their homes directly onto roads, where it accumulates and worsens the erosion crisis across the state. “ANSEC has resolved to step up enforcement to compel residents to properly channel and manage storm water from their houses. BREAKING: LSSTF PRESENTS 50 BRAND NEW VEHICLES TO LAGOS POLICE COMMAND.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

In furtherance of its efforts at supporting security and ensuring peace in Lagos state, the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has today donated 50 Nissan pick ups vehicles to the Lagos State Command of the Nigerian Police.


The funding agency, LSSTF which was represented by board members, DIG Agboola Oshodi-Glover (rtd), Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan and Admin. Director, Mr. Degbola Lewis did the presentation of the crime-fighting vehicles to CP Hakeem Odumosu who heads the Lagos State Police Command.


It is believed that these resources will prove to be game-changing for the Police has it continues to tackle crime and flush out unsavory elements out of the society.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
