KADUNA UPDATE: KDSG and the UK’s FCDO sign Mutual Accountability Framework

Kaduna State is delighted to sign a mutual accountability framework with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) of the United Kingdom and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes. This reflects the strong commitment of all sides to continued cooperation and partnership.

We are pleased that our development partners continue to support our governance agenda, anchored on human capital development, economic development and investments, peace and security. This will enable us to continue to translate into concrete action our commitment to expand access to education, health and social protection.

We have been able to count on the support of the FCDO as donor and partner throughout our years in office. The mutual accountability framework aims to improve coordination between the Kaduna State and the FCDO. It will support the delivery of the Kaduna State Development Plan 2021 – 2025 and form  the basis for the Strategic Dialogue between the Government of Kaduna State and the FCDO.

Over two days this week, teams from KDSG and the FCDO met to discuss and finalise the Mutual Accountability Framework.

I wish to thank Dr. Chris Pycroft and his FCDO delegation for their constructive approach to strengthening the partnership with Kaduna State.
