Paramount launches hostile bid for Warner Bros., countering Netflix’s $72 billion offer  Paramount has launched a hostile bid to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery, directly challenging Netflix just days after the streaming giant reached a $72 billion agreement to take over the company. In its announcement Monday, Paramount said it is bypassing Warner Bros. leadership and appealing directly to shareholders with a $30-per-share all-cash offer for the entire company, including the Global Networks division. The company urged investors to reject the Netflix deal, which remains subject to approval. Paramount argued that the Netflix proposal would drag shareholders into a lengthy and uncertain regulatory process across multiple countries, while also tying their financial future to what it described as a complicated mix of cash and stock. ZAMFARA CIVIL SERVANTS JUBILATE AS GOV. MATAWALLE PAYS JULY SALARY AHEAD OF SALLAH CELEBRATION.[PHOTO].#PRESS RELEASE.

Report reaching Omonaijablog has it that, Zamfara State civil servants have received their July salary alerts to enable them  celebrate  E'idil Kabir Sallah celebration.


In the same development, the Executive Governor of Zamfara State His Excellency Bello Muhammad Matawalle wishes all the good people of Zamfara state a fruitful Sallah celebrations while urging the good people of the state to use the period to pray for the insecurity challenges affecting the state and the country at large.


Our correspondent reported that, Gov. Matawalle  was quoted to have describes Zamfara state civil servants as partners in progress whose welfare packages would continue to remains his topmost priority.


Governir Matawalle said; "thanksgiving should be made to Allah (SWT) to help restore peace, and oneness among the people of Zamfara and Nigeria as a nation. Saying issues of insecurity in this country could be a thing of the past when we all join hands in prayers and fighting kidnapping banditry and all the acts of insecurity."



The Governor expressed his profound gratitude to all members of state civil servants, and all citizens of zamfara state who are working day and night tirelessly to ensure a smooth and hitch free administration of which it will be impossible to achieve anything. 



Governor Matawalle therefore assures the citizens that their welfare will be his topmost priority and that he is doing everything in his power to ensure everyone is safe, sound, secured and happy.
