 Trump announces Hamas disarmament and Israeli troop withdrawal agreement under Gaza ceasefire plan   President Donald Trump announced Thursday that Hamas has agreed to a plan to disarm and that Israel will withdraw its forces from Gaza as part of a U.S.-backed ceasefire framework. Trump described the agreement as a major step toward creating a new Palestinian government in Gaza that would work with the newly established Board of Peace to oversee the next stages of the plan. The president said the agreement would also provide Israel with increased security by preventing Gaza from being used as a launching point for future attacks. Details of the agreement were limited, and neither Israel nor Hamas immediately released statements responding to Trump’s announcement. The Board of Peace said Hamas had agreed to a roadmap for moving forward with the next phases of the ceasefire after months of negotiations. Former Bauchi Deputy Director of Lands Jailed for Land Scam

Justice Abubarka Muazu of Bauchi State High Court, on February 21, 2022 convicted and sentenced a former Deputy Director of Planning in Bauchi State Ministry of Land and Survey, Ibrahim Aliyu to twenty seven months imprisonment for obtaining money by false pretences and cheating. He was convicted following a two- count charge brought against him by the Gombe Zonal Command of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. 

Aliyu sometime in May 2015 dishonestly induced one Mustapha Bala to deliver to him the sum of One Million, One Hundred Thousand Naira (N1, 100,000) for sale of a plot of land situated at BSADP Quarters, Bauchi which belonged to His Royal Highness, Usman Bilyaminu Usman, the Emir of Dass, without his consent.

He pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced accordingly to three months with option of N50,000.00. (Fifty Thousand Naira only) fine on count one and two years imprisonment with option of N100,000 fine (One Hundred Thousand Naira) only fine on count two.
