 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Unfortunate Incident In Front Of Agulu People’s Union Town Hall

On behalf of Agulu People's Union and the entire Agulu community, we sympathize on the unfortunate incident which occurred on Sunday, the 27th Feb, 2022 at the army checkpoint in front of Agulu Town Hall which led to the death of one victim.

We hereby express our deep sympathy to the family of the victim.

We therefore wish to appeal to all citizens of Agulu, the members of the family of the victim and the general public to remain calm and exercise restraint for the interest of peace in our dear town.

We wish to state that the circumstances that led to the death of the victim is highly regrettable and unfortunate and we pray for the repose of the soul of the victim while we pray God to also give the bereaved family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

The Union wishes to assure all citizens that we shall continue to do the needful in ensuring that there is a conducive environment for people to go about their normal business peacefully.

Our prayers and thoughts are with the bereaved family and we look forward to the co-operation and understanding the circumstance demands.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
