 Dr Oby Ezekwesili Ezekwesili bags an International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award in Doha The former Vice President of the World Bank and co-founder of Transparency International (TI), Dr Obiageli “Oby” Ezekwesili, was honoured on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in far away Doha, Qatar. Ezekwesili, globally renowned as a public policy leader and anti-corruption reformer with decades of experience in institutional transformation across Africa and internationally, received the joint International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award (Lifetime Achievement) from the ruler of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The award recognises her sustained leadership in transparency reforms, public sector accountability, and values-driven governance. 2023: My Focus At This Time Is Fighting Inflation Not Politics – Emefiele 

Amid speculations that he may be running for President in 2023, Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele on Monday said his focus was on solving macroeconomic challenges, including fighting inflation.

Banners of Mr Emefiele as a presidential candidate has flooded parts of the country, suggesting he might be interested in politics.

“My focus at this time is a robust monetary policy and fighting inflation which is now a global problem; building a strong financial system in an increasingly uncertain global economy,” Mr Emefiele said in a series of tweets.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
