 Prince William and Kate Middleton bring George, Charlotte and Louis to Commonwealth Games for first Scotland public outing Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, marking the siblings’ first official public appearance in Scotland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, attended the sporting event on Saturday, Aug. 1, during their summer break with Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. While in Scotland, where William and Kate are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the family spent time with Team Wales athletes and their families. The couple also visited SportsAid, an organisation that supports young athletes. Kate has served as patron of the organisation since 2013. The Commonwealth Games, held every four years, brings together athletes from across the Commonwealth of Nations. Anambra House Of Assembly Confirms Ezeokenwa As Commissioner Designate 



Anambra State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of Barrister Sylvester Ezeokenwa as commissioner designate for special duties. 

The House confirmed his appointment during plenary following the report of the House committee on Screening and Election matters, presented by the chairman of the committee, Dr. Paschal Agbodike which found him suitably qualified to serve as a Commissioner in the government of Anambra State. 

Speaker of the House, Right Honourable Uche Okafor read out his confirmation, while the House supported it through voice vote.

Also at plenary, the member representing Onitsha North One Constituency, Honourable Douglass Egbuna returned to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the APC.

Honourable Egbuna who defected to the APC from the PDP before the November six 2021 Anambra state governorship election, said he returned to the PDP for reasons best known to him. 

Similarly, the member representing Awka North Constituency, Honourable John Nwokoye defected to the PDP from the APC
