 Prince William and Kate Middleton bring George, Charlotte and Louis to Commonwealth Games for first Scotland public outing Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, marking the siblings’ first official public appearance in Scotland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, attended the sporting event on Saturday, Aug. 1, during their summer break with Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. While in Scotland, where William and Kate are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the family spent time with Team Wales athletes and their families. The couple also visited SportsAid, an organisation that supports young athletes. Kate has served as patron of the organisation since 2013. The Commonwealth Games, held every four years, brings together athletes from across the Commonwealth of Nations. Court Strikes Out 8 of 15 Terrorism FG Charges Against Nnamdi Kanu. 


The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has struck out eight out of the 15 count charges preferred by the federal government against the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The Justice Binta Nyako court freed Nnamdi Kanu of eight counts charges slammed on him by the Federal Government on Friday, while ruling on a preliminary objection filed by the IPOB leader challenging the validity of the 15-count amended charge preferred against him by the federal government.

“In this instant preliminary objection application, I have read the counts and come to the conclusion that counts 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 have not disclosed any offense against the Defendant.

“‘Counts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 15 shows some allegations, which the Defendant has to answer" the court ruled.
