 LAGOS LAW REFORM COMMISSION ENGAGES TOURISM, AGRICULTURE MINISTRIES ON SECTORAL LAW REFORMS The Lagos State Law Reform Commission recently held consultative engagements with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems as part of ongoing efforts to review, modernise and harmonise sectoral laws for improved governance, institutional efficiency and sustainable development in Lagos State. The engagement with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture was initiated and led by the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Mrs. Oluyemisi Ogunlola.  The delegation was received by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Princess Adebopo Oyekan-Ismaila, alongside relevant departmental and agency representatives. I RECEIVED WITH RUDE SHOCK,THE UNFORTUNATE LOSS OF LIVES AT THE PIPELINE EXPLOSION IN OHAJI-EGBEMA- GOV. UZODIMMA. (PHOTO).#PRESS RELEASE.

I received, with rude shock, the unfortunate loss of lives at the pipeline explosion in Ohaji/Egbema as a result of illegal bunkering activities around the region.

This is one of the unexpected occurrences that has informed our campaign and fight against criminality and banditry in our society. I have been consistent in preaching against any practice that could lead to national economic sabotage and jeopardy.

While it remains pathetic that lives have been lost, this unfortunate incident calls for a redress by all who are in that illicit practice, to turn a new leaf and save lives.

At my instance, the Imo State Commissioner for Petroleum, Rt. Hon. Goodluck Nanah Opiah visited the affected area and we shall review the breached protocols and implement necessary procedures to avert a reoccurrence.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
