 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. RAMADAN: GOV. BUNI OF YOBE APPROVES FOOD ITEMS FOR 25,000 VULNERABLE HOUSEHOLDS IN YOBE.(PHOTOS).#PRESS RELEASE.

Ramadan: Gov. Buni of Yobe approves food items for 25,000 vulnerable households in Yobe. 

As the holy month of Ramadan 1444AH sets in, His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe State Hon Mai Mala Buni has on 30th March 2022 approved a Ramadan support for 25,000 vulnerable households and IDPs across the state. His Excellency further directed Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (YOSEMA) to coordinate with stakeholders and ensure successful distribution of the support to targeted vulnerable household across the state.

The Ramadan support is aimed at providing immediate food needs to the most vulnerable population to cushion their hardship in the holy month. YOSEMA alongside stakeholders at state and LGA levels have since initiated a distribution plan that will ensure delivery of food items to the beneficiaries effective first week of Ramadan 1444AH. 

To fastrack His Excellency’s directives, YOSEMA has since dispatched consignment for six (6) LGAs while others to follow immediately in accordance with plan distribution. While appreciating His Excellency's timely gesture, YOSEMA admonishes stakeholders to ensure immediate distribution at local government and community levels to the targeted beneficiaries as directed by the Governor. 

It is our prayers that may Almighty Allah SWT accept all our good deeds and keep us guided on the righteous path during the forthcoming Holy month of Ramadan.
