 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. Resignation From Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Withdrawal Erom the
Fresidential Contest

am writing to imtimate you of my resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP), which was conveyed to the Chairman of Agulu Ward 2. Anaocha LGA
Anambra, effective Friday 20 May, 2022. Consequently, I am by this letter
informing you of my withdrawal for the PDP Presidential Primaries.

It has been a great honour to contribute to nation-building efforts through our
party. Untortunately, recent developments within our party make it practically
impossible to continue participating and making such constructive contrıbutions.

Our national challenges are deep-seated and require that we each make
profound sacrifices towards rescuing Our country. My commitment to rescuing
Nigeria remains firm, even if the route differs.

I wish to thank you personally tor your graciousness and leadership. I wish you
well and best of luck in the service of country.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
