 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. Two Arrested For Allegedly Bribing Delegates In Adamawa During APC Guber Primaries

Two coordinators of an Adamawa governorship candidate, were allegedly caught while sharing money to All Progressives Congress, APC, delegates before the governorship primarie sheld on Thursday night, May 26.

According to Daily Nigerian report, the coordinators were arrested around 8pm when a combined team of security operatives stormed one of the locations where the loot sharing was being coordinated.

Apart from the men arrested and the money recovered, copies of filled out commitment forms with details of the delegates were also recovered from the scene.

A senior police officer who was part of the operation said operatives are on the trail of the delegates who had already filled the forms and collected the cash using their details contained in the forms.
