 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. GOVERNOR BALA DONATES 60 CARS TO LGA COORDINATORS, SAYS HIS ADMINISTRATION COMMITTED TO DOING MORE 


Bauchi State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has pledged to continue to provide citizens of the state with dividends of democracy, adding that his successes are attributed to the support and sportsmanship of his Local Government coordinators. 

Mohammed was speaking today at the Government House while donating 60 brand new cars to his 20 LGA coordinators where he said the gesture was to appreciate the beneficiaries for their outstanding performance and tremendous support to his administration. 

While describing the coordinators as critical stakeholders, Mohammed urged them to use the vehicles in canvassing support and votes in his favor.

Governor Bala expressed gratitude to the people of Bauchi State for the opportunity given to him and pledged to do more in his second term.

Earlier, the State PDP Chairman, Hamza Koshe Akuyam congratulated the beneficiaries and appreciated Governor Bala for his outstanding support to the party leadership at all levels.
